Well here are some pic's of the new Volant snorkel no under the hood shots yet. WOL took these at the SEMA show. And Volant has not updated their site yet. Not really what I was hoping for. Well lets see what the members have to say. But IMHO it looks like RR is getting my business.

 

Yep , think I'm goin RR also, I've been waitin for Volants release, it's too damn ugly for me. Even uglier than the AEV Coleman Lantern lookin one.

It looks like a leech. If I were looking to get a snorkel, I would go with the AEV one with the bug zapper attachment.

I really like it. I think it looks cool and makes the jk look mean. Price? from where can we purchase? anybody know?

 

Not into it, I much prefer the AEV version that is not affected by the opening of the hood. It's different though.

 

Removing looks from the equation, my main problem with it is functionality. When you lift the hood the snorkel bends at the back which isn't a problem, but underneath it must detach from the airbox. How is that going to be functional?

It does kind of look like a leech.

 

I don't like it at all. The AEV, ARB and River Raider look so much better.

 

Dont like the looks and I wonder how water proof is it if lifts with the hood like that.
