Default Value of Sahara factory rims & tires

Looking for some opinions here.

I am thinking about getting into a set of aftermarket 17" rims and 33" or 35" tires and thought it would be a good idea to off set some of the cost by selling my stockers.

What should I be asking for a set of 18" Sahara rims with factory Bridgestone Dueler AT's (6k miles on 4 - zero on spare)

One of my co-workers has a set (all 5 wheels and tires) same ones you have and was asking $1000.

In my area you will get $400-$500 for them. Problem is not that they arent worth more, just that it is one of the first things people change and the market is flooded with them.

IMHO keep them....run the stock 18's and take your stock duellers and get them siped and run them just strictly in the winter months. Let the sand, salt and debris destroy the stockers and run your aftermarket rims and tires during the nice months of the year.

I have been doing this with my last 4 vehicles and it has worked out well.

Probably one of the best advice I've heard in a while.

I sold all 5 for $200 but the duellers had 35k miles on them and were bald.
