this talk of color is BS...come to an agreement with your dealer and make them find you one that they can get.... Make them work a little; there is probably a dealer somewhere within driving distance (for them) that has the color you want. Now, if that isn't true then disregard.

It may be negative information but it is not misinformation. The lawyer that handled my case does 2-3 Wranglers a week. She has done over a hundred this year alone. 3 out of the 4 people waiting in the lobby when I signed my papers were JK owners.

If you weren't looking at half doors, I would say get the 2009 because the 07s and 08s leak all the time. That won't matter with the half doors, either will leak all the time anyway.
I am toying with similar decisions with the check from my 07 JK lemon. Leaning towards the TJ at the moment. I loved my last one.

Go with one of the Jk's. Go to a few different dealers in the area if you have some more nearby. If you have some that are farther out, I would say call them ahead of time or search on the internet and see what they have before you head there way. I'm sure you can find a great deal on a nice 08 or 09 JK right now with the way the economy is. Good luck and let us know how everything turns out.

Get the JK and don't turn back, I would deal the hell out of it with the dealership, don't let the borders of your city limit your search, if you have to drive 5 hours go for it...some dealer will beat it.......I don't know of a convertible in any brand of vehicle that is 100% water proof......either a hard rain, or a car wash can and will drip water into any vehicle eventually....that's what you get for having a convertible top... i have had 5 convertibles, some are better than others....

i'd get the TJ. I like them the same as the JKs, but I think they are easier to work on and a lot less computer annoyances. I figure most of the people on here will say they would drive a JK over a TJ being as that this is after all a JK forum, lol.
when they got rid of that 4.0L they pretty much stopped building engines.
