Used TJ or New JK
What would you buy?
2006 Wrangler X with 16,000 miles, 1/2 Doors, 6MT, Cloth Seats, AC ($12,000).
2008 Wrangler X (New, not the color I want), 23S Pkg, 1/2 doors, 6MT, Front Disco, Rear Locker, Rear Tow Pkg, Infinity Speaker with Sub (Quoted End of November at $20,734 after rebates).
2009 Wrangler X (New, Sunburst Orange), 23S Pkg, 1/2 doors, 6MT, 3.73 Axle (Hoping to get a quote at around $20, 596 after rebates).
The Jeep will be my DD with maybe once a month offroading in Northern Wisconsin.
The TJ would require a set of five BFG AT 31x10.5-15 (~$800).

JK's are much more comfortable to spend longer periods of time in(roomier).
My Sahara without lockers kept up with TJ's that were Rubi's or had aftermarket lockers. Plus, its a JK!

If you test drive the TJ vs JK that $8K wont seem like that much of a difference. The JK's drive so much different than any other Wrangler. Test drive then make your decision!
