12+ all the way. Hate to say it but when people ask me about buying a jeep I tell to to get a 12+ or try and find a nicely built TJ. I hated that 3.8 and auto tranny after 10000 miles.

X2. I have owned a 2009 Rubicon 2 door, a 2010 Rubicon 2 door, and now a 2013 JKUS. The 2013 is far better in every way than my previous rigs.

3.6 is the better choice. You can always build up the bare bones model as time goes by.

I'm in the pool for getting the 3.6L you can always put better aftermarket parts as time passes.

Ive driven both. Go with the 2012! Interior is great and the 3.6 outbeats the 3.8 anyday.
