Upgrading/Ordering a 2012 - How to spec it?
I'll move my LoDs and so forth to the new one - I'm wondering about transmission. Since the auto is now atleast a 5spd what do you'all think of 6spd Manual vs. Automatic?
An automatic is definitely easier to drive off road I think... but tbh I appear to have more throttle control with a manual than my friends with autos.
Anyone ever have both and can express likes/dislikes?
Thanks!
footnote:
It'll be White.. way too many trees/branches where we go wheeling for a dark color! The 2012 thread should be relabeled "which orange is best".

Wish I made a thread like this before I got mine. Driving a black, 4 door, auto, full doors, hard top Rubicon. Would've switched to a white, 2 door, manual, half door, soft top, Rubicon.
1. White to hide the scratches
2. 2 door for aesthetics, slightly better power to weight
3. Manual for more throttle control (Although I'd have to learn to drive stick)
4. Half doors look cooler
5. Soft top for light weight and convenience
Maybe in the future.

I'll still go full doors for cruising comfort... I always take them off for trails anyways. Largely because they'll get scratched to heck if I leave them on!
