Default Upgrade to Rubi wheels/tires

My jeep arrived today and my dealer said he would swap out my 17" Spkg wheels/tires with some Rubi wheels/tires. Should this be a straight up swap or should I expect to pay extra. If I should expect to pay extra how much?

You may have to pay, the BFG M/T's are a bit more expensive than the Goodyear SRA or the Bridgestone A/T's. If it is reasonable ($300-400 or so) then do it, the BFG is a great tire.

That's awesome if they do it for you... every single time I've bought a 4x4 vehicle, it comes with station wagon wheels... and each time I request that they swap the tires or wheels out with something decent..

Each time they say it is impossible.

Cheers to your dealer.

Do it! You'll love those tires... unless of course you're already thinking 35"s. Check out what folks on the for sale thread are asking.

The dealer is asking 100 per tire to switch out from the Spkg tires. Does this sound like a good deal or should i hold out for someone selling them on this forum?

I would jump on that in a heartbeat. I can only hope that my timing will be right and that my dealer can do something similar. I would really like to start out with a good set of MTs instead of the stock Goodyears, but I've yet to find anywhere that will give me credit for the Goodyears.

Jump on that. Once in a blue moon you will find a price that low for a used set. Of course they will be 500 to a thousand miles from you.

Thats a good deal, I bought 2 sets of rubi tires for my Xs one with wheels and one set of just tires. And that is a good deal.

Default Update from dealer

The $100 quoted includes tires ONLY. Is this still a good deal?
