Uh-oh....bushwacker pocket flares buyer's remorse
Haven't even installed them yet. Liked how they looked in several other photos, though. Saw a set on craigslist for $200 so I bought them. All mounting points and hardware are there. However, I still need to paint them (flat black or color match). My remorse comes in the form of lift & tires with these flares. I'm running 33" tires on a 2.5" coil lift (leveling). Therefore, more like two inches. I have a feeling these flares are going to just look too damn big on my jeep.
I'm thinking I'll go flat black for resale purposes in case I really don't like them. Now for the main question in my head: If I do keep them and just think the tires look too stuffed, are there any ramifications to using wheel spacers? Mine fit fine now (4.5" backspacing). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Opinions are like...well, you guys. I am concerned they MIGHT suck balls on my particular set up. On a larger lift / larger tires, I've seen them in person and they look great. Personally, I think the flat ones look bland as can be.

Yeah....I might. Only $200 for them fully intact, no cracks, etc so I'm sure I can break even. Other than personal opinion about appearance, why do you guys say they suck? Is there a functional reason or purely opinions on appearance? If it's functional, I'm all ears.

Buy it... Try it... Break it... Replace it...
This is half the fun of a Jeep!!! My $.02...
- Slap'em on
- Put on your spacers
- Jack up one side of the axle
- Check for clearance issues
- Decide whether or not to keep them
*if they're for a JKU... and you still hate them*
- sell the set to me...
Best of luck!!!

There are for a JKU. I think you're a bit far since the box would be huge and shipping a bit costly. I'll let ya know how it goes around end of the week.
