Trail riding tire pressure question

Usually 14 psi works for me

are these psi cold or after running down the highway to get to the trails? what is safe for the highway to get back home? not all of us have onboard air.

Just by a cheap little cig lighter plug type air compressor, it will air you up eventually and get you at least to a pressure that is safe to drive on to where you can get more air.
