track bar bracket malfunction

Default track bar bracket malfunction

hey all,
i just had the stock track bar bracket rip off my rear axle at the weld. i was just wondering if anyone on here had the same issue and if anybody had any suggestions on how to fix it

Is everything else on the Jeep stock?

If you're at or near stock height, I'd get it rewelded and add the JKS rear track bar brace. May also work with raised track bar mounts. I've got got one and its beefy. The bracket wraps under axle tube and gets welded on in several places. If you go this route have the bracket on hand and do the welding (or have it done) all in one shot.

i have a 2.5 inch lift with 35s
and the original bracket is pretty torqued up so i dont think welding it back on is an option.
i dont want to put a similar one on because im afraid the same thing may happen, any suggestions on a beefy weld on bracket?

JKS also has a replacement bracket to replace the OEM...similar to original but beefier. Can be used alone or with their brace shown above.

Our's broke with less than 6 months old,cut it off built a new one out of square tube
