Nope. I've been lower, too, and never had an issue. There was one time at Hollister when I ran them pretty much flat just to see what would happen (spoiler: I rolled a bead). I run slightly higher in the rocks. I feel that as long as you drive with an awareness of your current pressure, and avoid things like turning the wheel quickly and shoving the sidewalls into obstacles, you'll be fine.

If my memory serve me correct, i think only the 37's and up on the toyo's are Load range E's....I have em, and love them there is a reason so many run them....they are worth it in performance

I have the 35x13.50R15 Toyo Open Country MTs and I love them. As far as a review; considering your comfort level, some could consider them loud on-road. I don't mind the hum and actually find that it adds to the Jeep's character. They do exceptionally well on rocks and always seem to find a way to grip. Although between 30psi and 10psi, my contact path doesn't make a noticeable increase and the sidewall don't appear to change much. They don't seem to evacuate mud as well as I would have expected but do a great job of clearing mud once you're at or above 20mph. The wear is superior to any tire I've ever used, but that is only if you maintain a proper rotation schedule. I rotate my tires every other oil change (every 6k miles) and that seems to do the job.

The tires are heavy and my 35s are C rated. For this reason, they require quite a bit of weight to balance which ultimately depends on the size and wheel you choose.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with my Toyos and I will buy another set when the time comes for replacement.

Hope this helps!

That's not true. Most all Toyo tires are E rated, unless you're going with a 15" rim. (I wish they made them in a 35" D rating that didn't weigh so much.)

That said, I have a set of 295/70/17's and really like them! Good offroad and great tread wear.

Thanks to everyone for the info! Sounds like they air down OK and grip well.

Same tire, same rubber, different mold and tread pattern, toyos come in wider widths...nittos less expensive....both excellent tires, can't go wrong with either

I opted for the trail grapplers and would make the same choice again without thinking twice.

Nitto and Toyo are "sister companies" so i would rest assured that both choices are good choices. As for a load range E tire, when you air down they still function very well. My Duratracs are a load range E tire and they ride great and did really well offroad too. I love watching tires form to rocks and obstacles, it's awesome. I have seem both Nitto's and Toyo's do this.
