Cant see the tow bar in the photo, but it is a Roadmaster Falcon II 6,000# capacity, Roadmaster MX series hidden brackets for the jeep (stock bumper)and cool tech wiring harness for the lights. As my buddy Randy said above there is no cheap way to do this! But I do recommend a tow bar that mounts to the motor home in the receiver hitch.
Yes I do tow a trailer behind the jeep with my golf cart when camping. Legal in Louisiana!

I am using the Blue OX Baseplate and Alladin towbar.
Cooltech wiring harness for the lights.
US Gear for the supplemental braking.

The baseplate and wiring harness were an easy install. The braking system was an opportunity for my neighbors to hear my expanded vocabulary.

The entire system works well. Just hookup the towbar and plug in the umbilical.

Try the link, it is for a Motorhome towing forum. They have some good ideas when it comes to towing.

Solution. I got with a friend of mine that owns a fantastic shop and he custom built me a very heavy duty tow bar that pull from the d-ring shackle mounts that are already bolted to the frame. Seems to be VERY solid and well done. Thanks for all the input.

Ok - that part is done. What about brakes? Most states require seperate braking system on your tow car / toad. That is where the cost starts to get crazy..

This is a very good point. I have pulled mine without brakes and not only is it illegal in California but I definatley need them. Aaron (BYUJK) you need them too.
