Your JK is topless and it rains, has it ruined your stereo or anything electrical in the dash?

My JK swims quite often...lol The rain or even occassional heavy downpours have had no affect on the electrical systems whatsoever. Hell the seats will decay before anything else it seems...lol.

So far been fortunate that nothing was ruined. Got a bit stinky once it dried but nothing a little drying out and a bottle of Febreeze can't handle.

You fabreeze it? I just usually say screw it and let it air dry once the rain stops, smells better sun-dried

Rained in twice in the first three months owning it and no problems. Everything is tucked up under the dash and fairly high.

Ask yourself this... what other vehicles come from the factory with drain plugs in the floorboard? The engineers thought about it ahead of time.

I have a co-worker that has a 10' JK and has driven several times in a down pour! He keeps rain gear in a bags for his girl friend and himself. I think I will wait till it paid for first.

Reading these responses has been good. I've always wondered how the jk would do in actual rain. I keep a cover on my during my work week and keep an eye on the weather always. Have only been caught a couple times and was able to throw the top up without doors or windows. I have the iggee seat covers which are quite nice in those times.
