Tooting My Own Horn
So, I've had my JK for about 8 weeks now and today was the first time I've had the need to honk the horn. I gotta say, I was extremely under welmed. It sounds like a horn on a little girls bicycle. Or more precisely like the horn that Harpo Marx used to honk. I'm very surprised that it even meets DOT standards. This will be an immediate upgrade to my JK.

I had some a$$hole cut me off the other day so I laid on the horn... I think he actually laughed at me
My Dodge Neon had a beefier horn than this thing, I swear
I think I need to invest in one of those train horns... that'll teach 'em to cut me off

I've been thinking the same thing. Nothing like having a lifted Jeep with 35" tires and then having a girlie little horn. Maybe that can be one of my summer projects when it gets warm is replace the horn with something beefier.

Yeah my stock horn sounds like a typical horn. Nothing sissy or manly about it. It's just a regular horn.
I would second the train horns, I used to have duel trumpet horns on my Ford Focus and loved it, but it's way inappropriate for a Jeep, lol, it's what they use on Ferrari's. So don't get the regular trumpet horns.

x2. My horn is just "normal".
Maybe not a train horn, but an airhorn like in a semi would be good...

my jeep has the dinkiest horn in the world. Lucky for me it is really hard for me to hit the button for it good enough to go off when I am pissed as I may be laughed off the road. Smart Cars have a bigger horn than the dinky beep beep I have.
