Don't know where to get the metal clips but have you thought about a magnet? Most tool stores should have an automotive magnet which is just a magnet on a long flexible rod or non-flexible telescoping rod. It'll get into those impossible places. You can even get them with a small led on the end.

The problem is that you can't even begin to find where the hell they went without taking your whole dash apart.

I was goint to suggest the magnet as well. However, you should be able to order the clips from your dealer. It's just a chrysler part after all right? Now, good look getting a parts department guy that . . .

A. Gives a crap.

B. Will actually understand the concept of "customer service".

and

C. Can figure out what you're talking about without having to show him pictures or go out on the lot and rip a dash off a new Jeep.

Although C might be pretty funny.

Come with me parts man. RIIIIPPPPP!!!! Did you hear all those metal clips that jingled and chimmed as they dropped down into places unknown in the dash? Those are what I need. lol

This is true, but you'll be reminded of them every time you hit a bump if you don't get a magnet to pull them out.

-bump- *jingle-jingle* -bump- *jingle-jingle*

I'd try to find them before I get things back together.

if its the clips on the top center part, Jeep doent sell them you have to buy that whole plastic part with the 2 clips. But its cheap like $6.00. I dropped one once and couldnt find it.

Try looking at Lowes for replacements. They have a decent selection of automotive clips and fasteners in the pull out drawers, in the fasteners section. Good luck.

That's the way mine is with the clips. I can't get it to seat properly since the first time I took it off. The 4 lowest clips won't clip. It's pretty much just held on with the screws at the top and bottom. When I do my CB install soon, I plan on trying to fix it. Those clips seem to have lost their tension.
