Anyone remember when those square head lighted "Jeeps" came out? 4-doors appear to be in the same boat. Taking a little time to be accepted...

Well we have had our 2 dr JK Rubicon (the wife's) for two years now and love it. I did not like the look of the 4 dr and real Jeeps have 2 doors. Over these past two years I have been on the trail with many 4 dr JK's and see how well they work off road, even better that the 2 dr in some cases. Well it was time to get the daugther a new ride and we ended up getting her a 4 dr Rubicon last week. Man that thing drives and rides great, it reminded me of driving a FSJ (I have 3 of them). All in all the 4 dr. is a real Jeep for sure.

The man speaketh the truth!!!

The only 4 door that's questionable is a 2WD. Who decided the mass produce that?

I remember when Ford first came out with the SuperCrew. I laughed at it at first, saying who who buy something with a bed that small. A couple years later I owned one! I found out it the 4 doors were practical, and the smaller bed was a good limit on how much yard work I had to do. "Sorry, honey, I couldn't fit anymore bark mulch in the truck. I'll do the rest next weekend"

to his credit he resurrected his own thread - but indeed, a very old thread.
