Default tire suggestions?

bought 35s with the intention to regear. ended up having to spend money on something else and cant afford to regear. the large tires are stressing components and breaking parts. i am selling the 35s this week and buying smaller tires. what tires can u guys suggest?
prefer an aggressive looking tread that isnt too loud and doesnt weigh as much as south africa...
will i see a major change in mpg between the 35s and either 33s or 32s?
would u guys suggest 33s or 32s?
and i think im going to cut the width from 12.50 to 10.50 so i can take the wheel spacers off...i was told they also stress parts.

im young, money is somewhat tight. love my jeep. trying to hang on to it and cut costs while still looking...offroad-ie. thanks for your time guys, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

What gearing are you running? Auto or 6spd? You think you will take a good spanking on selling your 35's. Why not just run them with your current gearing and save up down the road for gears? The difference in fuel costs over a year will be maybe $300-500 depending how much you drive.

If you lived closer and depending on type of 35's I would be game to buy them. I am going to be bumping up from 33x12.50's to 35x12.50's next spring with my 6spd and 3:73 gearing and probably re-gear sometime down the road.

I have had minimum wear on my ball-joints running my 33x12.50's and fuel economy maybe dropped 0.5MPG from my stock wheels and tires.

goodyear mtr/k. They look good and sound like an A/T on the road.

waiting to gear is a bad idea, in my opinion. it caused me some trouble.
i really dont mind going to smaller tires and i am going to be able to sell these with enough to buy the smaller ones. so not that bad

Wish you would elaborate more. There are many, many posts on here (myself included) running larger than stock tires on stock or mostly stock components with no problems. If you don't do a lot of offroading, and it sounds like you might not (judging this from your 'offroad-ie' quote), then there may be a different problem at play, not simply the size and weight of your tires.

This depends on what kind of spacers you use. If you got high quality spacers like spidertracks then those cause no more stress than a rim with backspacing.

If your going with a 33, look at some 285/70s. They are about an inch taller and a inch wider than stock (255/75r17). Good luck!
