Tire size question
I have a 2007 wrangler 4 door with a 2.5" Rough Country suspension lift. I have been looking for a rim/tire combination that appeals to me. I have decided on MT Classic 2 alloys in 17x9 with BFG AT KOs. Question is: will 285/70/17s fit without rubbing? Should I go with 265? Any advice would be appreciated

Hi JeepJock,
I have the RC 2.5" Lift Kit installed on my JK, with the ProComp 33 Tires (285/70/17) Same as the BFs.. If your drive on normal surfaces then you'll have no issues, but when you start going onto Bumpy grounds, the Rear tires might rub slightly to the flares, and you'll start noticing that when your flares start to get loose with days..
THEREFORE..
1- Install a Rear Spacer Kit (eg. Ready Lift)
or
2- Install flat flares to prevent rubbing (eg. Bushwacker Flares)
Plus, im sure you're already aware with all JKs having lower tire clearance at rear than front..
This is my 2012 JK, your will look almost the same..
Cheers Bro
