I used the sprinkler trick back in the day when I had a plow truck that saw a lot of salt

Thanks for the tips and to the sprinkler idea, I'd have to leave it on FOREVER!!

BTW, I'm trying to get the underside of this clean:

I'm selling it to get back into a JK! I miss my Jeep alot.
To looks great! Another tip since the truck is black you will see the silicone overspray on it and your windows. I always use a cardboard shield to catch the overspray. Then go over my windows w/ a damp shami one last time.

Wd40 works best for me and you can just wipe down with a rag. Also use it on my fenders.

Thanks for the tip. I'm always going over the windows again and again.

On my RZR

I used simple green and a scrub brush. My buddy brought over this cleaner called "Big Z". It took EVERYTHING OFF but it burnt your skin and was really harsh to breath. The stuff made everything look clean though. He uses it all the time on his truck and toys.

If you use that stuff, wear gloves and guard your eyes. Its serious stuff.

Has anyone used steam pressure washer? A friend of mine said to look into one of those. Would like to hear if it works first before I spend the money.

I've never used one to clean my Jeep. I did buy one about maybe 7 or 8 years ago and can vouche that those things clean the hell out of almost anything! They work great. Highly recommend them. I'll see if I can find the model of the one I have...

SteamFast SteamMax Steam Cleaner - Appliances - Sewing & Garment Care - Irons

It comes with all sorts of attachments.

Edit: I just realized you said steam "pressure washer." This isn't a pressure washer but is a steam cleaner. Cleans by using hot steam, not pressurized water. Does a killer job cleaning nearly anything though that wont be damaged by heat.

Great ideas for under the rig, how about the engine compartment?

I use simple green. Spray it on & let it soak a bit, then pressure wash.
