Time to upgrade, 35s or 37s?
I have a '10 JKU Rubicon that serves as a daily driver and kid hauler (I drive them 2.5 miles). I have two carseats that require me putting a 3.5 and 1.5 year old into every day, I drop the kids off at daycare. Question is whether I go to 35 or 37. My gut tells me 35s on 3.5" lift.
What say the brain trust here?

That is a big lift for 35's. All you really need is a 2.5 lift or get flat fenders and no lift. I run 35's, but I do like the bigger 37 tire. A 3.5 lift will require a lot more parts being replaced with either 35's or 37's.

No, I don't "need" 37s lol. As per lift actually you're right, 2.5 or 3 would be more acceptable for 35s. I guess maybe I should take a look at 35s , flat fenders, and then just keep my Teraflex body lift.

35's and 2.5" of lift or flat fenders. 37' and 3.5" of lift is just a pile of potential problems for a daily driver with poor performance if not done right with gears.

That is what I would do. Just make sure you have enough backspacing on your wheels. If using stock rims you will need 1.5' spacers to clear 35s

On flat fenders w/o lift, I've read some stuff regarding having to trim the pinch seam and Rubi rock rails. I wouldn't be opposed to trimming the seam myself, but I don't know about the rails.
