Thinking About Trip to Moab
I've been thinking about taking a trip to Moab. It sounds like a great vacation destination with all of the Jeep trails, mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, etc. To those of you that have been to Moab or live there, would you recommend going in the late summer/early fall (September/October), or should I wait until the springtime (April/May)? Also, what are the best easy, yet scenic 4WD trails in the area?

I've been a few times. Jamboree week and Fat Tire Fest week. If you are into offroad, that is the time to go. Just be humble, and you'll learn lots.
I like the mountain biking way more than the jeeping.
Slickrock and Poison Spider. Also the BLM land on the rim of Canyonlands.
So I would stick with April and October. Its very easy to find stuff to do.
