Thanks for all the positive feed back . I am no genius , but I've lived long enough to know life is worth living , and you only live once , I know most people get so wrapped up in their work they forget how to live . Sometimes as people get older , they forget their dreams as a kid , eyes get hazed over , you know what I mean . I dug deep and realized that no matter where you live , you should enjoy life . When I was a kid , my family always camped , and fished . I always loved it , and I still do , I just relocated somewhere that I could go anytime I want .[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

So I have put my jk up for sale but now that I have been looking at full size truck prices I'm not happy lol. I wanted to get a quad and a truck to replace my jk but now idk.
Just kind of worried about breaking the jeep off road.
Has anyone done this and regretted it??
One of my main reasons is I hate how small my jk is. And yes I know I could get a jku but just not different enough of a vehicle to make a change and rebuild

It sounds like you don't really use the jeep for offroading as much as others . It has changed my life so much I have quit my job , sold the house , and relocated to somewhere that I can offroad anytime . ( close to the Rubiconj Jeeps aren't all that great if driven on road all the time and I wouldn't own one if I didn't off road . Also , I'm never afraid of breaking it , they are pretty tuff , and I can afford to fix it if it does .

I'll add my 2 centavos. I was in the same situation about always having the "repair bill" in the back of my mind. I got it in my head that I just had to be patient. I paid off the Jeep in January of 2012, and finally in March of 2012 bought a tow rig. Problem solved. Since the Jeep is relatively light, it doesn't take too much truck to pull it. I bought an 04 F150 Lariat with the 5.4L with 50k on it, couldn't resist at $16K, it does the job perfectly and I ride in style to the offroad park now. Now to buy a trailer so I can quit borrowing one everytime. Just be patient and wait till you can buy a good used tow rig. It's all fun and games then.
