they're just wheel locks that require a specific key to take off. you can get them at any automotive store.
they probably wouldn't stop someone from getting your wheels and tires, but it would make it a PITA so that they wouldn't bother. (unless you keep your key in the glove box or console like a dummy)

It is kind of scary how fast you can strip a JK, just think of how quick doors, windows, soft top, wheels, bumpers, rails, seat covers, stereo, etc can be removed if you get a couple of skilled guys. And how much it would cost to replace the stuff!

I'm considering it. Although I considered it for all of my jeeps and haven't got one yet. Of course I didn't have a $1500 sound system in any of my other ones either. Maybe a alarm system and a pic of me looking mad carrying a bat will be a good enough deterrent.

I just removed the Mopar Bikini to put back on my hard top, since it might rain. It took me all of maybe 10 mins and I was taking my time. If I really wanted to get it off quickly I'm pretty sure I could do it in 5 mins, and remove the door frames without opening the doors, and poof there goes about 500 bucks worth of stuff. Scary. Although most thieves probably wouldn't bother with stuff like that, it's probably more fun to slash the top with a razor and rummage around in the Jeep for spare change to buy crack. I'm hoping that the factory alarm will never have to be tested, but if it is I hope it deters anyone from doing anything more than smashing a window. Maybe my license plate frame will deter someone, "I'd rather be...Choking you out." lol I'm pretty sure it's the reason I don't get tail gated much.
