So i've been stuck at a crossroads lately. My JKU is currently my DD (so to speak) and I hate driving out to trails and worrying about it getting me home/around on the weekends (I work out of town during the week and have a work truck for that).

Do I keep dumping money into my jeep or sell it while i can still get my money out of it/before i dent the hell out of the body and rack up the miles?

Alternative would be buying a DD truck, trailer, and a dedicated Trail rig (TJ most likely :/)

Get a daily driver truck. Save up for a trailer. Keep that sweet jk. You already put all the work into it if you get a tj its just another jeep waiting for money to get dumped into it.

Let me get this right...you work out of town during the week and have a work truck? So do you drive to work then get your work truck or do you drive the truck to work? How many miles do you commute? I drive around 55 miles round trip to work.

If the Jk is paid off or even close to being paid off I would keep it. Then I would buy a truck and trailer. For half the price of a new JKU you could find a reliable truck with a car trailer. That's what I would do.

Keep the current Jeep. Continue to use and abuse. As it starts getting to the point where it is no longer reliable, start saving up for a trailer that you can pull with the work truck
