If it real soft use 4lo and air down. I just got back from Daytona and the sand is packed hard and I stayed in 2wd drive the whole time. Your tpms light will go off after u air back up.

Depends on what the condition of the sand is that your going to be running on, and the tires your running for airing down your tires. The jeep should be light enough to not need airing down as long as your just cruising along the surf. I've had heavy full size 1/2ton, and 3/4 ton 4x4's up and down the coast here in Texas and never had to air down. 4hi should also be ok for just tooling around, with sand momentum is key if you loose it 4lo might be needed to get it back. If you do happen to get stuck with no one around make sure you have at least a shovel, and a bucket to get some water and use it to dig out and firm up the sand underneath and in front of you. All in all have confidence in the jeep and just use common sense sand running is really fun.

Don't forget some wood planks also.
