you have to make it a game and predict if they'll wave or not....

most dudes less than 60yrs old all just about wave back...
all others look at you like you think ya' know them or something.

This Jeep wave really gets to me.

I was with a friend from work the other day in his STOCK 2008 unlimited and we must have past about 5 other Jeeps that day and not one return wave from anyone.

A few days later he was with me in my JK unlimited (NOT STOCK) as most of you know. and every Jeep we passed I got a return wave.

I really, really think, that for some unknown reason, a JK seems to get LESS waves returned if it's STOCK.

my area seems to be really good at participating in the Jeep wave, only a few times where people looked like they were driving in a daze didn't wave and one girl just looked at me and smiled as if she had no clue.

maybe its just me, but back when i had my XJ i always waited for other people to wave first if they were modded. it was like i had to be acknowledged by my superior first haha. maybe these guys driving the stockers are feeling a little intimidated by all the bigger jeeps. but they should still wave back if you initiate it

I've had my JK for about six weeks now, and until I bought it I wasn't aware of the "Jeep Club" (as my wife calls it). I think alot of the new folks who don't wave simply aren't up on the Jeep owner etiquette. It took me about 2 weeks to figure it out and now I'm an avid Jeep Waver.
