I say go with the ones that you want... consensus here would be KM2's.

Extremely happy with my STT's for wear, quiet on the highway and great mud tire off-road along with price! Add one for the STT

I have no experience with the STT's but I would highly recommend the KM2's. I've had them on my toyota for about 10k miles now and they are wearing great, fairly quiet, and give pretty good traction off road. I have not had them in deep mud though.

I replaced my MT/Rs on my `03 Rubi with Cooper STTs and loved them! Very good offroad and the siping made them much more driveable in rain and snow than the Goodyears.

I also had KMs (and currently have the BFGs on my new 4 Door Rubi) and like them, however, the longer wheel base is more forgiving with this tire than the SWB of the TJ.

When the BFGs wearout, I'll be shopping for another set of Cooper STTs!

good choice. Honestly, I am tired of seeing the KM2's, everyone and their mom has them. Be different

I have approx 20k or more on my STTs, Lve them. like you I check a lot of tires out before buying and found somewhere in aussieland some guy who runs outback guide service said he has never had a flat. think about that for a min...........................never. If all you do is offroad that is a bold statement.
