My top sits uncovered on my front lawn a few days at a time when I remove it. No soft top, so it has to go back on when the weather threatens rain.

I have a free hoist system - my teenage son and a couple of his friends.

You should keep the Jeep in the kitchen then so its close to the top.

I don't have a hard top for my JK, but I used to store my TJ's top for the summer on this with a tarp thrown over it. Stake it down if wind worries you.

I just set mine up on some saw horses to keep it off the ground. Don't have too many bugs in Northern AZ to justify a tarp for me. If you want to tarp it, do it. But I would keep it raised off the ground so critters don't get to comfy, that's just me.
