Storing doors in the back of unlimited
Has anyone tried stuffing all 4 doors into the back of an Unlimited with the seats folded down?
I think they would fit... if they were put length-ways (parallel to the vehicle), each door on its side (not stacked).
If they fit, could make a top + bottom "holder" out of Styrofoam or something to keep them from rattling against eachother... like a large 4-slot "dish rack"

Yes, but not with the seats folded down.
For those days when it was crappy in the morning and nice when I left work, I would put the front doors in back and the rear doors standing in the back seat footwell.
The front doors would get stacked inner-inner, with the window frame hooked over a rear headrest.
It was a bit dorky looking, but the air movement was wonderful.

I tried it once last summer but I found the doors to be just too heave and unmanageable to handle (by myself anyway). I gave up and I'll likely end up getting the Bestop soft doors this spring just for that reason.

this is me at the deller the day I got my Jeep (the only time the doors where on it!) I put the one door in the back seat, but I had to put the other in my pickup for the ride home. the doors are heavy and week so the dont hold up good when bounceing around in the back. get soft doors, that is what I am doing. (asked for them for x-mas )

That's what I did on my drive to Ocean City Maryland last weekend. I used a few blankets and let the mirror come through the window. Not a scratch or any other damage, but perhaps I was lucky this time. Anyone know of a product I could buy like the roof window panel storage bag?
