Default stolen jeeps

i did a search on this and did not find anything. i hear about tj's getting stolen every week but i haven't heard a single jk getting stolen. has any body else heard any thing?

I think thieves prefer the straight six (maybe even the 4cyl.) to the V6.

Yea I been the same worrying about Lucy getting stolen I got the new viper alarm but I still makes me worry

i have heard that the vipers are not as great as they once was? the Ravelco i heard is the best, not sure if they make one for the jk but i have heard some really great things about it

Is there some sort of transponder you can hide in the car, akin to chips for pets?

The keys are so big because there is a chip in the keys (in addition to the lock and unlock buttons for those of us with power locks). Without the matching key for the JK in the ignition the engine won't start, so it makes it a lot harder to steal.
