stock leather seats
i'm looking for people with experience with the stock leather seats in the Rubicon.
Does it get sticky, sweaty and hot in the summer? or do they breathe pretty well? Also, do they hold up well to driving with the doors off, if grime and stuff gets all over them?
I know they're easier to clean than cloth, but are they more trouble than they're worth?

I know a guy that has the factory leather in his rubicon. Personally o think leather is good for a luxury vehicle but bad in a jeep that may be pus through hell with mud and wetness.

I have leather seats in my Rubicon, I like the comfort and the ability to clean them. I haven't had them rained on yet but they seem to repel water when cleaning them. I dont have a problem with hot or sticky in the heat. I would buy them again.

My Sahara has the two-tone leather seats. Pretty sure the dealer added them on. Ive been very happy w them. I thought they would get to hot to sit on sometimes with the top off but they dont. I havent got them completely soaked or anything hit a couple small rain showers and just wiped em off when I got home. Overall I like them alot.

Last year I spent a good part of my first Jeep summer with the top and doors off and the leather seats are excellent IMO, no swamp ass or burns as others suggest. The seats are incredibly easy to clean and they're very durable. My Jeep doubles as a personal vehicle and my work truck which I use to run deliveries with all week long. I'm sliding boxes in and out all the time and the seats are as nice as they were when I bought the Jeep. Everyone will chime in with their and this is just mine.
The one thing I do hate about the leather is how bad they freeze my ass in the winter. I threw on a thick fuzzy seat cover I had laying around and that helped. My plans are to install some seat warmers before next winter rolls around.
