Default Still New? When do you consider it no longer new??

Well our new rubi (I still see it that way) just received its License Plate in the mail yesterday so I was starting to think well that's it can't call it new any longer, but I thought about it and decided well we still haven't had to make our first payment so its still new. Then my wife IM'd me saying she had just sent off our first Jeep payment...now I'm thinking the bloom is off the rose and it's no longer new.

When did you decide your Jeep was no longer new?

As soon as I signed my name on the dotted line, it makes it go down in value the second you do that. It is also considered "used" at that point.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I hate having a new vehicle. When I bought my Jeep the other day, the first thing I did was find the nearest mud puddle for a few dips. The second thing I did was stop at the gas station and take off all the dealer license plate holders, emblem and tire cover and throw them in the trash. At that point, I considered my Jeep no longer new. Feels much better.

When you can see through the rust spots on the tub, it is no longer new.
