Have any of you guys installed the factory 7 pin wiring yourself? Their 2 hr install estimate sounds about right.

I'm not saying that its the cheapest route to go, but it doesn't sound like they're trying to rip anyone off. It looked like a lot of work to me and that's probably what the book specified for labor hours.

But for a new harness it was 198.00 still expensive to me.

 

I'm just saying that they aren't rip off artists. People in this thread are talking about avoiding them. That's ridiculous, they quoted you book labor. Hell, they're actually more honest than most dealerships. They let you find the parts cost yourself. Most dealerships AND garages mark up parts cost too.

This dealership is getting a bad rap over nothing.
