Take the top off and recline the seats and look up! I wouldn't want to sit on.

Not really that big a deal...

I'm 6'2" & 280 lbs. I've stood up there and sat up there for a while with no issues. Now, I'm not doing jumping jacks or anything either.

If it will hold him I think you may be ok, lol. I would still just take the hard top off and put it in the garage for a few months.

I woundn't think it would be a good idea. I tested the top at 65 mph in a rollover and I saved the part you were talking about with the warning. Mine was of course an extreme test and I don't recommend it!!
