If you were apart of one of my recent threads, I started thinking...

Earlier today I spilled some oil on the carpeting inside my JK.

Will shampooing the carpets get the oil/stain out or am I screwed with an ugly spot?

My shirt soaked up a good portion of the oil, but I know it's still there.

If it really bugs you, just keep your eyes on the for sale threads and you will probably be able to pick up a full replacement set of carpets from someone who is rhino lining theirs this summer. The other option is to yank your carpet and rhino your tub!

you might try shampooing it with some Simple Green and see if that will help lift the oil out.

If I ever get grease or oil on clothes, I spray it with this, wait a few minutes, and brush the oil away. It is incredible and works great. I also use it on my driveway if I spill oil. I have 5 cans of this at my house.
