I don't believe the sky is falling or any of that crap. But I do believe in being prepared. It is law enforcements job to keep the peace but I am not going to depend on anyone to provide safety for my family. I carry a weapon legally and would only pull it as a last option. We have all seen the footage of hurricane Katrina, and don't believe it should be the govts. job to wipe our asses every time there is a problem. Most who carry do so legally and with the intent of self protection. Also if you carry a .45 you don't need a high cap magazine, though I do have them.
