My wife only drives my Jeep when the top is off. If the doors are off, she looks for every reason possible (some she even makes up) to drive it.
Anyone ever think about only taking the door(s) off on only one side just to mess with people?

Had all four doors off today and got my real first comments about it in years of doorless driving....
I just was told by a lady (50s maybe) today who was driving with her very emasculated looking husband(I assume) in the passenger seat, that I should be locked up. Cause anyone crazy enough to drive with no doors on is a danger to everyone.
I told her my wife said the same thing a couple miles back.
Being as I was alone in the Jeep she looked around and then just gave me a look of disdain as the light turned green.

I was doors off last week and at the local grocerie store.. When I came out with my case of beer and slim jims. Some guy was standing 2 feet from my jeep while his what seemed to be 4-6 Year old son was sitting in the driver seat pretending to drive.. On the outside I calmly told the youngster that the ride was over and time to get out but, On the inside I was thinking of some real choise words for the father.. I mean just cause the doors are off isnt an invite to plop your A&% down is it? That guy didnt get it.

There are tons of Jeeps in Northwest Arkansas, and plenty that drive around without doors or top. I've never had anyone be surprised about it or seem to think it was odd.
Now, cruising down the road, doors and top off in the middle of a rain storm, that got some odd looks!
