I got burglarized yesterday and they took my extra Wrangler key. No power or remote etc. but I guess it s chipped. Anyone been through this and had to re-key? I guess my options are to buy another key and reprogram them so if the clowns come back to take the jeep, at least it will not start, but they can still get in. The other option is to have a locksmith re-do the locks. I asked my insurance co what they would cover, and they had no answer for this part of the problem.

Just add this thing to your Jeep...and see those clowns steal your Jeep.

That sucks. It would seem they're looking at getting your Wrangler. And I would think your home insurance company would take care of the re-keying of your Jeep.
