What's wrong with a long handled snow brush? I also found what worked great is to drive the Jeep and smack the top. Sometimes just cranking up the fan causing the top to expand would work. Of course to be polite you wanted to be sure no one was driving right behind you.

OK thanks for all the info. I'm most likely going to be getting it with just the soft top, but I guess we'll see when the time comes.

If I do just get the soft top, I can always get an aftermarket hard top, correct? Or will the factory hard top fit on there if I were to order one or buy used?

Yes, the factory hard top will work after the fact. You may need to have a little wiring done for the wiper and defroster controls, though.

Also, keep in mind, that in many cases ordering the dual top option is a lot cheaper than buying it as an accessory down the road. So, if you are pretty set on getting both hard and soft top, save money and get the dual top group.

Lots of snow on my soft top, no problems.

Whats cool is while you are driving down main, hehehe, sorta "punch" the top and snow flyes straight up off the top, I get alot of looks.

We only had one snow this season here in South Jersey that had any acumulation. Just a few inches on the top. No sag, no leak.

One thing I did just before the cold weather came in. I cleaned and waxed my jeep and put a heavy coat of 303 protectorant on the top, fenders and bumpers.

Winter has to be rough on the fabric no matter what.

Get a spray bottle, a squigy, and some washer fluid.

Like 30 seconds and the back window is clean.
