Oh Yes! I had the same problem the first time I put my soft top on... and the manual does not explain it well enough. I ended up going back by the dealership and looking at a jeep with a soft top to see what I was doing wrong. Wrap that 90 degree piece of hard plastic on around that door post before tucking in the bottom and back. Initially I thought it just hooked over the edge of that door post but the key is it wraps on around so only the soft top is exposed to the inside of the door edge. Once you you see what you are doing wrong you will go... Why didn't I see that!
