I've always been fond of Jeep for the obvious rugged reasons but also because my Grandfather worked on them in WWIi ( among other vehicles). While off roaring in Wyoming in a Jeep Patriot, I realized I really needed a Jeep Wrangler. A year later, I bought a slightly used one

We were in the market for a new vehicle. It was my wife's turn to drive the new vehicle, as I have had the last two. She got to pick the new ride.
We went to a Chrysler dealership, talked to the salesman, she told him what she wanted, and he showed her a few crappy SUV's, and then the jeep.
We drove it, and liked how it felt. We went and checked the ford ranger, as that is what she wanted. It was way too small, so back to the Chrysler dealership.
We got rid of the crappy Nitro, and drove away with a 2010 mountain 2 dr. She loves it, and I get to drive on the weekends (company truck).
Oh ya, have 2 teenage kids....they are too cool to go out with us anymore, so the 2 dr is just fine.

none of the choices fit me.
I have always had a 4 wheel drive and always wanted a wrangler.
I own a 88 cherokee for several years but wasn't able to use it much..
Then I bought a 99 blazer and used it as the kids grew up, when the 4 dr JK came out I wasn't ready to dump the blazer ..... didn't want payments so that was the basic reason
Finally bought the 2DR JK.
my answer would be always wanted a Jeep so I could go up into the mountains and be able to have no top if I wanted and I have always loved the Jeep look... from CJ-5 to JK.
so if I had to pick one it would be #1, but it doesn't really fit.
good luck on the paper.
