So What's Up with the Crappy MPG?
#21
I have around 2000 miles on mine now. The computer says that I'm getting 22.0 to 22.5 per gallon. By my calculations I'm getting a solid 21.5 per gallon. That's 3.5 per gallon better than my S-10 Blazer that I had.

But getting around 360 miles at 20 gallons, not bad. I'm going to take a road trip to FL on Tuesday night so lets see what this baby does all the way from VA...but once I enter FL I'll take the top down (will be morning by then) then drive rest of the 345 miles (to West Palm Beach) to see what difference it maeks w/ the top down...

yea it's a old thread but what the hell...
if I wanted something good on gas I'd have gotten some crapy hybrid car or something.
according to the dash readout I'm getting 11.? mpg don't know what I'm actualy getting since I'm running 35's but honestly I don't care....

Am I the only one surprised that with A.) Not huge but noticeably improved Aerodynamics and B.) Damn near foil thickness Sheet metal that Mpg. isn't a little better? Maybe it's all the electronic crap, my 84 CJ had sheet metal thickness of a Tank.
