JK D30/D44 front axles can bend and even sometimes break the axles tubes in certain conditions. The rear D44's for the most part work great, however there are a few out there that have bent one. Yes you can run 37's on a stock front, but your better off bracing it or just upgraded the front housing with a aftermarket D44 housing. I'm running a Tera44 front and a Tera60 rear in my JK over the standard axles.

if it were you, and money was an object (LOL) what would you do? What would it cost? What are the baseline needs considering that i will offroad, i will do more than simple rocky climbs, etc. I wont have Moab situations, most likely, but it will be used. I really appreciate the help. seriously.

The Mopar 44 is just a dana 30 with a diffrent housing from what i have read. So yes, you will still want to beef if running 37's. You are going to want C Gussets, and mabey some Axle sleeves. Without these you could still run 37's but i wouldnt wheel it and would still be scared to even drive it on the street. 37's are alot of weight on these weak axles. Anything more than that and i would just start saving for a ProRock 44 up front.. and tehn buy the new axle, lift and tires all at once.. Hope that helps
Guess maybe I shoulda never wheeled mine then.
