Well, I was going to tell the story about me sitting between a guy sparking up a bong and a cop at a off ramp. However, I have had the same steam come from the front as well. I wouldn't worry about it.

For the most part what you are describing is normal and I agree with every one else, don't worry about it, your just seeing steam comming off the damp radiator, if it really gets hot, it will let you know.

I get some smoking from mine at stoplights...when I hit the gas too hard and light up the tires. Not!

I fired up a 1906 Stanley Steamer today. No vapor from under the hood, but plenty out the exhaust duct.

I'm glad someone else has this problem. I noticed it the second time this morning at a stop light after only 3 miles. Mine has only done this when its cool out in the morning. I have not seen it after it rains. It ususlly only happens once. This thread saved me a trip to the dealer. Thanks.
