How many off you with the hard top would be interested in a 1 pc. smoked or clear freedom top insert.

I would love to see someone come out with this.

 

I asked that question many moons ago when I saw a post on some jeep forum where a vendor came out with a smoked lexan freedom looking top that went with their bikini top for the 4-dr JKs....have no idea who the vendor was though...but I'd love a t-top smoked freedom for my hardtop in the winter and keep my softtop for the summer.

 

I'm in, provided the price is reasonable.

Well they were made for their bikini top so yeah it'd leak, they weren't made for the hardtops. Someone has got to make these sooner or later. Tell you what else would be nice...is if they came up with some kind of rear sliding hardtop side-windows for a little breeze.

I am a newbie...and not too sure abou the rules of linking to another site...
BUT...If you google "JK skytop" you will find the Wade Acrylic Skytop that I believe some of you are referring to. It does look like it isn't completely waterproof....because it velcros around the bars.

I would like to see some better pictures of the Wade Acrylic Skytop. I think the basic idea is good...just needs revised.

I would really love to see a replacement for the freedom tops that has some or all clear. Something designed to fit with the hardtop and doors on. I will be using my JK for more SNOW driving than MUD.

 

thanks for the tip, that's the one I was talking about, guess it works with any bikini top and it's for a 2 or 4 dr so that's cool...but it's really silly they didn't make that an encloseable t-top with latches, etc.
