Default Skidrow Front Skid..

Does this skid actually protect anything? I wanted to lose the plastic stock one, but that looks like it actually does something protection wise and this doesnt?

I think the big words make it look like crap. As far as doing anything I don't know.

It's a $80 dissappointment(advertisement mainly) It does protect the little front crossmember bar that really doesn't need to be there.

Thats what I figured. So any other recommendations, or should I just stick with the stock plastic one?

I have the mopar one, It protects my e-disconnect pretty well. It was about 200 from my dealer. Evolution one and Kilby also make front skids. But they require cutting off the bash bar and rotating the edisconnect up.

If your staying with a stock bumper I wouldn't worry bout a skid till you decided on a new bumper. I f you do any off- roading the plastic air dam will most likely go in the first big mudhole.

Ive done some mild off roading and hit a bunch of nice mud pits, and its still there so far. I know its only a matter of time though, so I wondering which to get..

If your staying with the stock bumper, Mopar one looks like the best option. You musta not had to back up in mud and water, thats when mine came off.
