Since we all got our JK's...

We got ours because we needed a 4x4 that we could easily tow behind our motorhome. My wife and I decided to quit our jobs and travel for up to a year. Our Jeep has now been 700 miles below the border in Baja and all the way to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska.

~without getting all Zen on anyone, I bought mine as part of a lifestyle change.
Sold all the fast stuff before it killed me, changed jobs & where i lived. Chucked that life out the window, started over and opted for things to slow down, look around, be around for & with my daughter for years to come, and be myself more.
That, and i love Jeeps, always have.

To get to where most folks won't
I have a photography business and I wanted to be able to get to places that most others won't, or can't go. My 95 Grand Cherokee was OK but my JK is GREAT!

I love time spent in the wilderness and the further away from others, the better. I'm passionate about photography, as well (though only as an amateur; I give away my work, or charge only printing cost for posters). My son and I are visiting all of the U.S. national parks (39 of 58 completed). We also backpack and paddle and have even sailed (a week in the Florida Keys on an 87-foot schooner last year!). The JK affords us better access to the wilderness areas of this great country.

I got mine because I like to play in the mud and on the rocks (always have), I like the convertible aspect in the summer, and the assurance of 4wd in the winter. But mostly I got it because it is FUN!!!

I've had a Jeep since '93 and figured I'd have one until I die. With a larger family now I still wanted my jeep so the 4 door was a real big plus for me. Plus I love photography but as a hobby. I hope to one day supplement my income a bit. Put a rack on top to hold me, my tripod and my camera and travel around.

.....And I bought the little TJ just because. I kept my 4-door Santa Fe for family travel, but wanted a little something just for me. Wow, the day I brought it home, EVERYONE was eyeballing it and wanting to drive it.
