Price seems slightly high for the year.
If you don't plan to offroad a bunch and would prefer a better cabin and on-road driving charateristics, I would look at the sport in the 12's and up.
I enjoy my Wrangler, but im glad to have a WRX around for long trips and for when I want to feel like I have more torque than a Yugo.

I also agree with the "get a Sport" if you don't plan on wheeling much. I got my 2dr 2011 Sport in the Summer of 2011 w/ 318 miles on it for $27,000 + interest/fees.

Is this going to be your primary family car or a second vehicle? I traded my loaded '06 Dakota SLT crew cab for my '12 basic 2-dr Sport JK. The truck was much more luxurious and probably had more genuine utility, but it wasn't really 'fun' to drive. The JK is that in spades. It's my daily driver, but my wife's CTS is available when we need a more 'practical' vehicle for our longer trips. That said, I'd be much more comfortable driving this Jeep on a long trip than my old '95 YJ. A hardtop JKU should be OK for hauling a family; the SWB JK, not so much.
