[QUOTE=HappyCurmudgeon;72866]The ones i am currently using are "blousing straps" from my old bdu's. The mil guys should know what i mean
Love those blousing straps! CHEAPEST mod yet!!! $.75 times two sets=$1.50
I bought the plain black ones and they look great. Just wrap them around the roll bar and no flap! Perfect size!

The driver's seatbelt flaps? I have not noticed this I have had to clip in the rear and passengers to keep the clip from tapping but when I have the seat belt on I don't notice any flapping. Maybe it has something to do with my figure and the way the seat belt is stretched to fit oer my gut. Of course everything flaps some when the doors are off including clothing (why I would not feel it) and the safari top (why I would not hear it).

Maybe we should do a write up on this. Cheapest easiest mod yet.

ArmyCop??
Where did you find them at that price - off post that is? I've got some that are about 27 years old - and still in pretty good shape - but I haven't gone to the surplus store yet!

i found some long velcro straps at the dollar store and they work fine. maybe if they were load bearing i'd go to home depot/lowes but this is just holding down a seatbelt so it doesn't really need to be expensive. i got 2 rolls for a buck.

i see these pictures of where people are tying down their seatbelts and have tried this, but it doesn't work for me. that position is too high. in my 2 Dr with the doors off, it is the lower part of my passenger side belt that flaps. it does it even when i have that top part strapped down. it flaps even if i buckle it in like someone was sitting in it.
the driver's side doesn't flap at all, even with nothing on it.
