Default same hardtop problem?

I bought a mopar hardtop when I purchased my jeep. The dsng thing leaks. Jeep has put 3 sets of gaskets on it. They seem to work for about a week then the leak comes back. The last time it was at the dealership they told me to suck it up. That a leaky hardtop was a jeep thing, snd gave me a writeup stating the same thing. Its a 2012. My 2007 never had this problem. What the crap

Suck it up is the wrong answer. I'm on my third JK and none of the hardtops have leaked. I would have expected it in my (now sold) 08. but not the 2010 or 2013. Take it back to them and tell them to get you another hard top. It's their job to fix it and it's not "just a Jeep problem"

Yeah that's a load of crap. The hardtop on my '07 has never leaked, and I take it on and off a lot. I would have someone else look at it

Same with my 07....has not leaked.

I am not super demanding on product quality, but would not accept that dealer response. That dealer, Chrysler, and I would be having issues.

If they fail to fix it check your local lemon laws. I believe in most states that if they have tried to repair the same issue more than twice to no avail then they have to replace vehicle. I'm sure they'd rather replace a top.

Wow I'd be pist! I lemon lawed my 08 Cummings diesel Dodge Ram, all it took was three recorded attempts to fix the problem. I used Kimmel & Silverman here in PA, extremely simple process. It took 6 months but I basically ended up with a free year and a half lease on a $50k truck, got every penny back other than fuel and insurance. It was sad to see it go though, it was my first brand new vehicle and my dream truck.

The diesel particulate filter system. I was in the shop 10 times within 8 months for the same problem. The "blue goo" would lock up my turbo and throw codes left and right. They told me to take off the dpf system to fix it but they would then cancel my warranty if I did, a real catch 22.
